This album is the third produced by the Swedish electronic band, and was released in 2011.
I discovered this band via a friend who copied me a stack of albums in MP3 format onto a CD.
They are exactly my type of band. Slightly nuts, off the wall but with some great beats and songs. The album gets your foot tapping but might not suit all types of music lovers. Especially if you’re not a fan of electronic pop.
Since discovering them I found out that the lead singer Yukimi Nagano, feature on a great Gorrilaz track Empire Ants. She has a great voice.
I also watched them on the iPlayer at a festival and their set was amazing.
I’ve since bought more of their albums, and they never fail to entertain and remain just that little bit odd.
I’m not a fan of the X-factor, Britain hits talent, Pop idol cheese factory that our modern world idolises. So, you may notice my taste in music is pretty eclectic. I’d much rather discover new music on Jools Holland and BBC Radio 6. Which is where you’re more likely to hear or see Little Dragon.
Favourite songs on this album are: Seconds, Ritual Union, Brush the heat and Crystalfilm.
