I’m writing my blogs a few weeks in advance so by the time you read this, my fate will be signed, sealed and delivered.
D-day will be decided by the end of this week. I will know if I have a job, what the job will be or if I’m escaping to pastures new very, very soon.
I can’t wait for it to all be over. The waiting and wondering and wild speculations have really dragged on, and whatever the outcome is, my opinion of regular ‘work’ will change forever. I know where I fit in the landscape of the world and where my priorities will be.
My family, my home and my writing will forever be the most important parts of my life and no job will change that now. A job is for paying the bills, do my hours and get home and enjoy more important aspects of life.
If this horrible situation has shown mean anything, it is to balance out what matters and what really doesn’t.
